...no fish for me today but i did enjoy watchin 2 gulls harrass "ole baldy"....he wasn't takin any crap from em though and stood his ground till he saw me with the camera...

Looking into Assateague Island Virginia from the Maryland side.
Photo taken a couple miles down into Virginia from the top of the beach dunes which are very high. Very cold that day, that's ice there!
Pieces of wrecked ships are often found after a storm, this one looked like a turkey drumstick.

Given the right conditions money comes to the surface and is quite plentiful, picked up more than 13 dollars one day in December 2009.

The Bridge to The Old Bunting Lodge has collapsed. Walking the rails was beyond my interest, especially with 2 cameras around my neck.....

Aug 8 2010 6:43 am early morning is when light turns the boring into beautiful.
Sea Oats soaking up the morning fog........sea oats are a protected species but not indangered, there are a few plants on the Maryland side of Assateague but quite a few more on the Virginia side.
