The "Club Room" at High Winds. After a fine dinner of fresh duck and plenty of oysters members would "socialize" here with perhaps a little nip of whiskey and maybe a card game or two......and later maybe "sing a few of the old songs again" as my friend and former guide at the club, Mac Simpson has told me many times. Sam Riddle built the lodge between 1920 to 1924 out of a couple of floating shantys and various additions, ending up with 9 bedrooms and 2,320 square feet. Many famous people hunted here as guests of the various owners. Currently almost "fully decayed"
